EKT goes live – at the BerufeLive career fair in Detmold
We look back on three successful days at the BerufeLive training fair in Detmold. From September 18 to 20, 2025, we had the pleasure of inspiring many curious students about the world of work at the Lippe Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Detmold, giving them insights into various training paths and showing them concrete prospects.
The shortage of skilled workers is one of the major social challenges of our time. Companies report a shortage of skilled workers in almost all industries, which can hamper growth, innovation, and regional prosperity. We see a clear task in this context: to support young people in a targeted manner at an early stage, to offer them practical insights, and to open up clear prospects for their future. Only in this way can we create the skilled workers of tomorrow who will strengthen our companies and drive regional infrastructure and innovation forward.
For us, training means more than just job training: it is the way to build skills, take on responsibility, and continuously develop. We focus on recognizing potential, promoting individual talents, and designing learning paths that lead to sustainable careers. Through sound training, mentoring, practical projects, and regular feedback, we create a culture of learning in which young people can confidently start their careers.
We are particularly proud to highlight the contribution of our trainees and young employees: they are the ones who are already shaping our future today and who will carry our company forward tomorrow as skilled workers. The BerufeLive trade fair was an ideal platform for this, allowing us to present specific training paths, answer questions, and break down barriers—so that as many young people as possible decide to pursue qualified vocational training.
The interest shown by young people encourages us to continuously develop our training programs and continue to create experiences that reveal potential.
If you would like to learn more about our training programs or are interested in an exchange, please contact us directly. We look forward to working together to attract and train the skilled workers of tomorrow.
